Foolishly I purchased this in Nov 2020 for a project it's now Dec 2021. I did not fully realize that when I bought it and tested it out that it probably worked and I just need to understand the drivers, which I would do at a later date. That day is here and I can confirm what another buyer "Casey" stated, the soundcard is dead. It won't play audio out of any port, Booth, Master, Monitor. So, USB in / Nothing out. Nice.Updated 12/21/21:Apparently I'm the defective one. The controller works as it should. It's the driver and windows x that are problematic. Reboot (ideal) > Launch DJ software > Turn on controller. Use this order or you risk a blue screen with "djt4mixa.sys"Even if you do everything in the correct order you might still trigger a blue screen but most of the time the order works as it should. Then, you need to make sure that your controller is outputting as expected. I have found instances where there is no audio output despite the level, and peak indicators showing activity. Rebooting the controller and or the software may correct this. This controller is not without its difficulties but it minimalistic style, button, and platter location are nearly perfect. I don't use the platters, they are taped down lol.Once everything is running it's stable. Something to note, be careful of certain output 'configurations' in the audio control panel of your software, they can also trigger a blue screen. My rig:DJ Soft: AnyPC: Alienware 17 R4Memory: 32 GBProcessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz burst to 3.80 GHz 4 cores 8 threadsOperating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro / Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044 (12/21/21)Soundcard: Realtek 24 bit, @ 48000 HzVideo 1: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB GDDR5Video 2: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630
